Continuing the Dream - Wow! You have lots of dreams! Thank you to Norm for an outstanding job in leading us in Continuing the Dream. Thank you to all who participated in this outstanding brain-storming session! We collected many ideas and great suggestions for the future. Let’s all continue to hone and work towards the completion of these dreams.

Haitian Relief – In God’s wisdom, He has helped us prepare for the disaster that has struck Haiti. This past year, our Pennies from Heaven fundraising effort has achieved close to $2000 in pennies and matching pledges. There are still a few pledges yet unpaid. If you made a pledge and have yet to submit it, please do so as soon as possible. We will forward that money to Orphan Grain Train to supply food to the people of Haiti. Please continue to pray for our neighboring island nation. If you are able to help further, Pastor can provide information on several relief organizations including LCMS World Relief.

Pennies from Heaven – With the success of last year’s fundraising for Haiti, the youth have decided again to hold a Pennies from Heaven drive this year. The money raised will support the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Novosibirsk, Siberia. Collect your pocket change and deposit it in the jar each week. You may also pledge to match the amount collect in pennies. Pledge forms are available next to the jar. Collection will continue through Reformation Sunday, when all the change will be counted and collected to support the spread of the Gospel in Russia.

College Hill Lutheran Church and Brammer Student Center of Cedar Rapids, IA will be sending about 15 college students to Charleston for service projects in March. While here, they will spend a day each working at Tricounty Family Ministries, East Cooper Habitat for Humanity, and Middleton Plantation.  They are planning to provide music as a choir on Sunday morning, March 14.

Member Mail Boxes – There is a file box on the table in the fellowship hall that contains a file folder for each family. Please check your folder periodically for items and information.
