Youth Ministry
On the second Sunday of each month, the youth of Good Shepherd gather after Sunday School for a catechetical time and then its off to lunch and a fun-filled activity such as the beach, roller skating, or bowling.

During the summer months, we incorporate service days at Tricounty Family Ministries and road trips to youth conferences.

Military & College Ministry
Ministering especially to the younger population of our military installations and area colleges, we will provide rides to services, participation in social events, and occasionally a good home-cooked meal.

Elder Ministry
In particular, a weekly Service of the Word is offered at the assisted living home of Ashley River Plantation. Services are held every Wednesday. Check the Worship page to verify times and locations.

Music Ministry
During various special services throughout the year, it is common to hear a Children's Choir, an Adult Choir, or
Orchestral Accompaniment. This special music is a wonderful addition to the congregational singing that is a regular part of our worship.

Human Care Ministry
Good Shepherd is a regular contributor to the ministry of Tricounty Family Ministries. We collect food, clothing, and devotional reading for those in need each week and work as volunteers as schedules allow.

We have been partners with Thrivent and other area Lutheran congregations in a Habitat for Humanity home in our area for 2008, 2009, and 2010; contributing financial and volunteer help.

In 2008, members of Good Shepherd made a road trip to Biloxi, MS to assist in the building of affordable homes in partnership with Thrivent Builds and Habitat for Humanity.
